CAUSE: Transfer Unit handle (M4) is not locked into position when making a copy or printing. This may happen while a technician is servicing the 7823 with
the door interlocks cheated.
SOLUTION: To reset the CSF90 error message, perform the following:
1. Move the Transfer Unit handle (M4) to the right to lock it into place.
2. Remove the cover over the Tech. Rep Setting Switches Board.
3. Press switch S24 to reset the message.
4. Replace the plastic cover over the Tech. Rep Setting Switches Board.

The 7823 supports Macintosh Operating Systems v7.5x, 7.6x & 8. The 7823 will work with a Macintosh in a networked environment. Macintosh drivers are
available on the Fiery* Controller's Software & Utilities CD-ROM that comes with the printer.
Note: 7823 cannot be directly connected to a Macintosh. The 7823 must be networked to be used by a Macintosh. An option is to create a small ethernet
network by putting an ethernet card in the Macintosh. The Macintosh and the 7823 can then be connected using an ethernet hub.

CAUSE: Printing using only the parallel port does not allow access to the calibration or scanning capabilities of the machine. The machine is designed to
print primarily via a network connection to the Fiery* controller.
SOLUTION: Print using a network connection to the Fiery controller to access all the capabilities of the machine.
