Solution
The parallel printer cable is not proprietary. The cable has a DB-25 male connector that connects to the computer on one end and an MDR-36 male
connector that connects to the Fiery X2e on the other. The cable can be obtained from the Parts Distribution Center using p/n 10015473 or p/n45002101.

Solution
CAUSE: Alphabetic characters are not accepted into the serial number field.
SOLUTION: Enter only the numeric characters that follow the alphabetic characters. To enter the serial number, perform the following:
1. Press UTILITY and then METER COUNT.
2. Press STOP, 0 twice, STOP, 0 and 1.
3. Press SETTING and then SERIAL# INPUT.
4. Enter a serial number as needed.
Note: Up to 9-digits can be entered for the serial number.
5. Press EX three times to return to the standby display.
