Description
Fiery* X2e, "Offending Command" message when printing test page through parallel port on X2e controller.
Solution
CAUSE: Adjusting several Timeout settings may correct this error.
SOLUTION: On the workstation, adjust the following Timeout settings:
1. Click on START, select SETTINGS and then PRINTERS.
2. Right mouse click on the icon for the printer driver and then select PROPERTIES.
3. Click on the DETAILS tab on the Properties window.
4. Change NOT SELECTED to 60 and TRANSMISSION RETRY to 120.
5. Click on the SPOOL SETTINGS button and select DISABLE BI-DIRECTIONAL SUPPORT FOR THIS PRINTER if it is not greyed out.
6. Click OK twice.

How to program ATS (ADS, Automatic Drawer Switching).
Solution
To program ATS/ADS, perform the following:
1. Access the Service Mode (press User Mode, Meter Count, Stop, 0 twice, Stop, 0 and 1).
2. Select Setting.
3. Select Paper Size.
4. Select paper source (Tray).
5. Select paper size to be used.
6. Program ADS as required for each tray.
7. Repeat for additional paper sources (trays).
8. Select Panel Reset to exit the Service Mode.
