Description
Fiery* X2e, how to disable job notes when printing from Windows* 9x print driver.
Solution
To disable the job notes, perform the following:
1. Click START at lower left corner of the PC.
2. Go to FIND.
3. Click on FILES and FOLDERS
4. Type EFMM3010.INI in the NAMED field. This file is in the Windows\System directory.
Note: The driver's filename should be the same for PPD extension and the INI extension.
5. Click on FIND NOW.
6. Double Click on Notepad icon next to the file.
7. Change the following to two lines to Off.
JobNote1=Off
JobNote2=Off
8. Click on FILE and then SAVE.
9. Print from an application or the print driver test page to verify the Notes field has been disabled.
